TAFHIM does not charge for the submission or processing of articles. All content is freely available without any embargo or charge to the user(s) or institution(s). Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles , or use them for any lawful purpose as long as proper acknowledgement is given to the authors of the original work, without asking prior permission from the author or publisher.

TAFHIM is a non-profit journal. All expenses are borne by the Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (IKIM).

Marketing to authors are appropriate, targeted and unobstructive. TAFHIM engage researchers, promote the journal and drive high-quality submissions by targeting the right authors for the journal.
